RIM introduces GPS-free location service for BlackBerries

It has been several years since most of the leading manufacturers of cell tower triangulation as a quick solution to stop slow first GPS. Today, even some low-cost phone services that use cell-based local, but there's the BlackBerry device is able to do so.



Well, that does not exist. RIM has finally made the cells to add their service position and is ready to be used for all future developments or applications have been published.

Having invented the new video calls to Apple, it's time for RIM to reinvent the phone location triangulation. The "new geolocation feature included in the latest BlackBerry service at local level and requires BlackBerry Application Platform v5.0 or later.

Now all the BlackBerry, even those who do not have A-GPS location-aware.

Better late than never, I think.
